In addition the parasol is has a fantastic tilting mechanism which can be altered to creater shade in any given direction. We can also confirm the canopy is UV rated to provide protection from the Sun.

Can furniture be left outside all year round?

We can confirm that all of our furniture can be left outside all year round. However we do recommend to purchase one of our winter protective covers for your furniture. Our covers provide superior protection from the elements. We strongly advise that all cushions should not be stored underneath your protective cover, otherwise the cushions will become water stained. In addition all cushions should be stored in a dry location when not in use.


Are my cushions machine washable?
All of our cushions can be machine washed, we recommend that you wash your covers at a low temperature, around 30ºc. In addition we strongly recommend not dry your cushions on a radiator or tumble dryer. This will cause the cushion cases to shrink.


Do our products fade in sunlight?
All of our products provide UV protection to ensure they do not fade in sunlight, resulting in years of enjoyment.


How do I care for my furniture?
We recommend cleaning your furniture without the cushions at least once a year. Brush the furniture down to remove leaves and debris. Use warm, soapy water and a soft cloth to wipe dirt away. After the dirt has been removed we recommended to rinse your furniture.


Is our furniture fully assembled?
All of our furniture is fully aluminium welded, the only component which requires assembly is our tables, parasol and storage boxes.


Do you use Tempered Glass?
Yes we can confirm all of our glass has been tempered for your safety.


Does our Rattan Contract and Expand?
Yes all of our rattan will contract and expand based on the current weather conditions. In warm weather our rattan will expand and then contract back to its original state once temperatures become cooler. This is a completely normal trait for rattan garden furniture and in result will stop the weave from snapping and becoming brittle in the winter months.

 

Cleaning & Care Instructions:


Cushions:

  • Cushion covers are showerproof. Please store in a dry area when not in use.
  • Cushion covers can be cleaned with a damp cloth and warm soapy water.
  • Do not use fabric softener/conditioner as this may impact the showerproof properties.
  • Do not machine wash or tumble-dry cushion covers.


Rattan and Frame:

  • Use warm water and a non-abrasive/non-aggressive liquid detergent.
  • Wipe using a soft damp cloth.
  • Do not rub or scrub the surfaces with abrasive materials.


Tables:

  • Use coasters/mats to protect the surface when placing items.
  • Do not put hot items directly on to the surfaces.
  • Do not store glass on its side during assembly, safely place on a flat surface

 

 

FREE DELIVERY applies only to deliveries to the green area on the map, with a minimum cost of £250.

In case of delivery to red and blue areas, additional fees will apply.

The delivery fee is automatically updated at the checkout before the order is confirmed.

Planning your delivery

When we plan our deliveries at DAKO, we will give you a 4-hour time slot at least 1-3 days prior delivery date. If you decline this time slot, we will offer you another delivery slot within 10 working days if you're in the green delivery zone.


The driver will inform you 30 minutes prior to
the delivery. You will also be given a link for you to track the driver's delivery progress on the day, so you don't need to be home all day.

We respect your time, and we ask you to do the same with ours, that’s why we ask you to be home for the time of the delivery.
If you can’t make it in time, then please give us a call on 0184 281 0420. You will be able to change or cancel your delivery, free of charge, 24 hours prior your arranged time slot if you're in the green area, 48 hours if you're in blue or red area, otherwise you will be charged.
If you contact us in time, we will be able to rearrange your delivery date and avoid any additional costs for you.

Delivery timescale

Normal delivery times are between 7am - 10pm on Monday to Friday. However, weekend delivery is possible to the green area at a premium cost.

Please ensure you supply the correct contact details as the buyer will be notified of a delivery date either by text message or a call. 

If the goods you ordered are in stock, we aim to deliver as quickly as possible usually within 10 business days. Please bear in mind, your delivery may be delayed if you're in the red or blue area. 

Please note some items may be delivered slightly sooner or later than the stated period on the individual product page. 

Generally, where an order contains more than one item, all items will be delivered at the same time once all items are available. If an item you wish to purchase is on fast delivery, and you would like to receive this sooner, please place two separate orders.

Missed Delivery

When a delivery date has been agreed with our courier, but the customer isn’t present to receive the delivery, or declines the delivery time slot within 24 hours prior to delivery for green area and 48 hours for blue and red area.
We reserve the right to charge the customer as below:

The charge is per item, therefore if you have ordered 2 wardrobes, the fee will be doubled.

Failed Assembly

If our drivers are unable to assemble the product(s) for any reason which is not due to a fault of ours, you may be charged the full assembly service fee. 

 

On the Day of the Delivery

Goods will be left inside your premises at the first and safest convenient location. As standard, the delivery drivers will not carry items upstairs. All transportation of your goods to a location upstairs is entirely carried out at the contractor’s risk and discretion, unless you have paid the extra charge for 2-man delivery, which will then allow the drivers to carry the items upstairs.

PLEASE NOTE: the “carry items upstairs” term also covers flats which are not located on the ground floor. 
Our drivers are unaccompanied; they will not be able to move or take away any existing goods or property and will not carry out assembly or installation of the goods unless arranged.

Acceptance of the products

Other than where the buyer acts as a consumer, the buyer shall be deemed to have accepted the products 5 working days after delivery to the buyer.

After acceptance, the buyer shall not be entitled to reject products which are not in accordance with the contract.
